My viewpoint on Generative Art

If you walk into an art gallery, you will find paintings, drawings, and amazing photographs of landscapes, people, characters, and so on. No one would question that ALL of that content is art. You would probably be chewed out for saying it isn't.
One important thing to remember is that Photography and the "Photos" that are made from the cameras the people used to to take that amazing "artwork" was done using a tool where you push a single button.
The photographer didn't make the landscapes, objects, or people in those photographs, however there was Intention, thought put into the photo and how it should be taken, lighting, composition, angle, concepts, etc. that all go into creating that photo, not to mention photoshoping the digital versions to get everything just right.
Here's the kicker...
Stable Diffusion and the artwork made by it, is the same as Photography. Not only that, more work goes into it since you have to do more than just "Click a single button." Generative art requires that you describe the scene, concept, lighting, practically everything in words as if you are not just an artist, but also a writer.
The camera is just as much a tool, as Stable Diffusion is. Yet everyone is content to hate Generative Art, and at the same time Praise artwork that is taken from a Camera.
